Premiere of the B&B VW Polo 9N 1.9 TDI PD with 110kW/150h.p.
at the Essen Motor Show

We proudly present at the Essen Motor Show 2002 one of our highlights in the area of VW-tuning:

The B&B VW Polo 9N 1.9 TDI PD with a CARACTERE body kit.

The B&B VW Polo 1.9 TDI PD develops on level 1 at 4.1000 r.p.m. a performance of 96kW/130h.p. and an engine torque of 300nm at 2.000 r.pm.
On level 2 the B&B VW Polo 9N 1.9 TDI PD provides a performance of 110kW/150h.p. at 4.000 r.p.m. and an engine torque of 325nm at 2.200 r.p.m.

To retard this enormous power on demand, 322mm brake discs are workable for the front axle. In connection with 4-pistons brake callipers at the front axle as well strengthened steel flex-connections one can talk of a brake system that controls the vehicle even at highest rates.

In the area of chassises we use a thread chassis in two different adjustments: either comfort- or sports-version. Both versions are distinctive for their clearly improved cornering ability in both every day use as well as in border areas.

For wheels, from 7,5”x17 up to 8”x18 inch wide B&B light metal rims “B1” and “B2” with a tyre-width of 215/35-18 Conti sports tyres, many opportunities are available.
Our exclusive light metal-rims are characteristic for their extremely high-grate and robust optics. They provide a mirror finish polished stainless-steel rim base in a patented technique and have a noticeably higher resistance against every day’s wear and tear than the commonly polished rim base has.

As an optical upgrade for the VW Polo 9N serves the new CARACTERE aerodynamics body kit.
These high-grade add-on components are characteristic for their precise dimension accuracy. All of the add-on components are tested by the Association for Technical Inspection and are “Made in Germany”.

To reduce the relatively long gear move of the Polo 9N models, B&B has developed a short-shift which reduced this gear move about up to 40mm.

With kind regards
